Wikis in plain English (ADVANCED)

Hi there! Look at this! Have you ever heard of wikis? I know the wikipedia, but actually, I have to confess the first time I heard of wikis was two or three weeks ago when my students of the 4th year explained it to me. In case not everybody knows about it, watch this video where you have a perfect explanation in plain English. If I knew how to do it, for sure I would include wikis in my blog... so, please... can you help me? I think we would all find it very useful for written debates!

Hi Marta,

Very interesting video. It explains very well the philosophy of wikis.

You can't have a wiki in this blog, but you can put a link to a website with a wiki.

For instance, I have just created a wiki:

http://eoiferrol4english.pbwiki.com

It's only an idea about things we can do using wikis.

Creating a wiki is easy. There are many websites in which you can do it:

http;//www.pbwiki.com
http://www.wikispaces.com
http://www.wetpaing.com

You only have to follow the steps in each of those webs. When your wiki is created, you only have to put a link to it in your blog.

See you.

thanks a lot, fernando.
it's nice that we can have a wiki for all of us at the school. Be sure we will all make use of it. I'll try to be a little pushy in trying to get it and your idea for the summaries is really nice as well.
